Return and Refund Policy

Tool Leaks LLC (“Tool Leaks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a membership-based online marketplace for tools, power tools, shop equipment, accessories, and related products. Because the products sold through our platform may be high-value, safety-sensitive, damage-prone, easily misused, or difficult to resell once handled or installed, all returns and refunds are subject to the terms below.
Return Eligibility
Returns are accepted only for items that are new, unused, uninstalled, unmodified, undamaged, and in original packaging, with all original parts, manuals, accessories, inserts, labels, tags, and serial numbers intact.
To request a return, the customer must contact support@toolleaks.com within 30 calendar days after delivery. Return requests submitted after that period may be denied.
A return does not guarantee a refund. All returns are subject to approval and inspection.
Return Authorization Required
No item may be returned without prior written authorization from Tool Leaks. Unauthorized returns may be refused, rejected, or returned to sender at the customer’s expense.
If a return is approved, we may issue return instructions. The customer must follow those instructions exactly. Failure to do so may result in denial of the return or refund.
Customer Pays Return Shipping
The customer is solely responsible for all return shipping costs. This includes packaging, insurance, tracking, signature services, carrier charges, and any risk of loss or damage while the item is being returned.
Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law or unless we shipped the wrong item.
Inspection Before Refund
All returned items are inspected before any refund, store credit, exchange, or other resolution is issued.
A refund is not issued when the item is merely sent back or marked delivered. Refund eligibility is determined only after our inspection confirms that the returned item fully complies with this policy.
If a returned item fails inspection, we may, to the maximum extent permitted by law:
- deny the refund;
- issue only a partial refund;
- deduct amounts for damage, missing parts, repackaging, restoration, handling, or diminished value;
- return the item to the customer at the customer’s expense.
Condition Requirements
Returned items must be in resalable condition. We may deny or reduce a refund for items that show signs of:
use, installation, wear, contamination, abuse, modification, missing components, damaged packaging, removed labels, removed serial numbers, grease, fluids, chemicals, dirt, shop exposure, or any condition inconsistent with sale as new.
Non-Returnable Items
Unless required by law, the following items are not eligible for return:
final sale items, clearance items, used items, installed items, modified items, special-order items, custom items, made-to-order items, discontinued items, hazardous materials, chemicals, batteries, lubricants, adhesives, digital items, memberships, gift cards, downloadable content, and any item marked non-returnable at the time of sale.
Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Missing Items
If an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete, the customer must notify support@toolleaks.com within 5 calendar days of delivery. Customers must keep all original packaging and provide any requested photos, videos, labels, or supporting information.
Failure to report these issues within the required period may result in denial of the claim.
Manufacturer Warranties
Unless Tool Leaks expressly states otherwise in writing, products sold through the platform are covered only by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, if any.
Warranty claims, product defects, failures after delivery, repair requests, recall issues, and manufacturer performance issues must be handled directly with the manufacturer. Tool Leaks is not the manufacturer of most products offered through the platform and is not the warrantor unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
We may, at our discretion, provide proof of purchase or basic order documentation to assist a customer with a manufacturer warranty claim, but we do not assume responsibility for administering, honoring, or resolving manufacturer warranty claims.
Marketplace Role
Tool Leaks is an online marketplace and membership-based sales platform. We do not manufacture most of the products listed on the site. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tool Leaks is not responsible for manufacturer defects, product misuse, improper installation, failure of manufacturer warranties, or post-sale product performance issues, except as otherwise required by law.
Refund Method
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed by Tool Leaks in writing. Refund timing depends on our inspection process and the payment processor.
Abuse, Fraud, and Excessive Returns
We reserve the right to deny returns, deny refunds, cancel orders, suspend accounts, terminate memberships, refuse service, or take other protective action in cases involving suspected fraud, abuse, excessive returns, serial-number tampering, product swapping, damaged returns, policy circumvention, or conduct harmful to Tool Leaks, its partners, or its supplier relationships.
Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback, the customer agrees to contact support@toolleaks.comand provide Tool Leaks a reasonable opportunity to review and attempt to resolve the issue. Abuse of chargebacks may result in account suspension, membership termination, denial of future purchases, and recovery of associated fees or costs where permitted by law.
No Waiver of Legal Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights a customer may have under applicable law.
